Was recommended by locals, the food and service was amazing. Will definitely be going there again. Had a Cazuela of 20 corn tacos (5 trompo, 5 costilla, 5 bisteck, 5 sirloin) with potatoes, sautéed onions and added some specialty beans.🔥🔥🔥

Very good restaurant, not a big restaurant but nice and cozy, very clean, very nice staff, the food here is awesome this is the original, I believe. The tacos de tromp are highly recommended, and I ate moiejas too it was a combo plate , as the serving is well served. The charro beans are good, too. Like the fact that you can see the fire on the Trompo through the window.

Placed an order this afternoon, through the drive thru order red salsa with my order. Received green salsa , so I tried it twice to make sure If I liked it or not, decided a no for me. I asked the lady could I have red salsa , i (i asked for it the first time) she said yes it'll be 65 cents. I said oh wow I asked for it first but ok it's only 65 cents ( right). So I bought it (I guess) . Anyways I gave her back the green salsa and told her to throw it away. The young lady said all snotty no we don't throw them away we keep them and slammed the window shut with out letting me tell her that I had doubled dipped into the sauce 😬. I have a very bad cold right now with alot of cough so good luck who ever gets the green salsa . Not my intentions for her to keep it and distribute the sauce.

Very few places have that finger licking food especially when it comes to some barbacoa! La vaquita is already infamous for it's tacos and tortas but the barbacoa is on a different level. It's got the flavor that true barbacoa should have and not the taste of over spiced meat. Get there early on Sundays because they do sell out And you will have missed the opportunity for a great way to start your Sunday.

Too much fat in tacos, potatoes and corn is not a very good combination to eat with tacos. The service was good, fair price.
